The Property Ombudsman (TPO) - TPO members are expected to conduct their business practices in-line with both legal obligations and best practice standards set above the minimum level. In line with the Ombudsman's Terms of Reference, TPO can consider complaints raised by consumers against these obligations.
The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) - ICO members take data protection seriously, ensuring that people can trust us to use their data fairly and responsibly. Legal obligations are regulated by the ICO and set up by the Data Protection Act 2018 along with the GDPR. Members are guided to promote good practice, carry out audits, consider complaints, monitor compliance and the ICO will take enforcement action where appropriate.
